Question about pinging results

I tried to test the reliability of the wireless network connection by record the pinging results. I used the command:
"ping -c 10000 192.168.xx.xx >/tmp/ping.log &"
The result recorded in the ping.log file shows:
"10000 packets transmitted, 9981 received, 0% packet loss, time 10011246ms ..."
Can someone told me why the transmitted packets are more then the received ones but there's no packet loss?
Thanks in advance.

It's 0.19% loss. Rounded to a whole number, that's 0.
