quagga router at boot not copying the right files
Hi experts
Ok, so this might not be the right forum, but I figured it is networking and quagga is somewhat linux based.
Here is the deal, I got a quagga router from this dude that I am trying to enable for IPv6. This Quagga is sitting on a virtualization platform running ESX.
According to the documentation, Quagga should do the following at boot: configuration files (ospfd.conf, ospf6d.conf, zebra.conf etc) are copied to disk from floppy (virtualized hardware mounted on the quagga) if they are missing from disk. for me, the ospf6d.conf is missing.
But here is the problem: at boot, i don't see ospf6d.conf being copied over from my floopy to my disk.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? I mean where should I even start looking? I would assume some boottime script would loop over my entire config dir and copy everything, but clearly it doesn't, so it is probably a list hiding somewhere that the script uses. but i can't find it.
thx guys
