Question Quagga OSPFv3 where is default-information originate for ::/0??

Hi,

I want to redistribute a default route for ::/0 in OSPFv3. In OPSFv2 I use the command:

Code:
router ospf
  default-information originate always
default-information: Control distribution of default information
originate: Distribute a default route
always: Always advertise default route

However when I try to do this in OSPFv3 for ::/0 I do not get this option.

Code:
Router(config-ospf6)# ?
  area OSPFv6 area parameters
auto-cost Calculate OSPF interface cost according to bandwidth
end End current mode and change to enable mode
exit Exit current mode and down to previous mode
interface Enable routing on an IPv6 interface
  list Print command list
log-adjacency-changes Log changes in adjacency state
no Negate a command or set its defaults
quit Exit current mode and down to previous mode
  redistribute Redistribute
  router-id Configure OSPF Router-ID
stub-router Make router a stub router
  timers Adjust routing timers

If you check the Quagga mailing list archives, you'll find this to be a known issue.

The relevant default-information command just isn't implemented (yet?), so the only workaround is to create a static route (to ::/0 or perhaps 2000::/3) and redistribute that instead.
