qsub does not execute my scriptes


i write a script with the following me

#!/bin/sh
#PBS -N newjob
#PBS -l nodes=1
#PBS -q dingpeng_queue
date
sleep 10

and i sub it with the command qsub job1, but i do not see any out put from the script. so what is the reason.
the qstat gives the following

Job ID Name User Time Use S Queue
------------------------- ---------------- --------------- -------- - -----
15.teacher01 job_name dingpeng 0 Q dingpeng_queue
