Pxelinux to network boot, /proc/cmdline truncated early

Hi all. I'm working on using pxelinux to network boot my computer and I'm having trouble in that the parameters in /proc/cmdline passed to mindi are being truncated before the 255 character limit. I've looked in the log file and the parameters in /proc/cmdline are cut off, but I've got like 100 characters max in there. Any ideas why? This is my first ever attempt in this area, so I don't quite know what I'm doing.
