PXE boot diskless windows station from linux

Ok after several days of trying my head is starting to explode.

Does anyone have a tutorial on how to boot virtual windows installation (or anything of the sort) using pxe boot from linux server.

I tried IPXE and i can load the IPXE but cant load the virtual drive ... essentially what i need it the linux to have several different vhd drives on it and then i have a lab with pc-s which will have to have the option to boot and you choose which windows to load and it loads n that pc so it can be used.

Regards

PXE/IPXE/GPXE are all network boot methods. I personally have never heard of a way to network boot a virtual hard drive.

Microsoft has their own way of using images and ways to distribute them. Generally it is a server configuration where an image can be sent to then load to a hard drive.

Maybe I don't get your question.

Some people can make BartsPE or UBCD4win that will boot via pxe. http://reboot.pro/topic/19015-boot-m...work-via-ipxe/
