ProxyChains - Which program is the best one??

Hi guys. I've been reading about proxychains for a while and how it's much better and secure than a normal proxy. So, I end up with two programs:

1) ProxyChains (Comes with Debian APT-GET)
2) JAP (Java Anonymity Proxy)
.

What I really want from you guys is your opinion about which one is the best! Which one is easier to use?, which one has more opitions?, etc etc.

I hope to get answers from people who has tried both of them. Anything else you guys thing it would be nice to know, any new program, special mixes, etc etc, please write it here.

Thank you all.
