proftp chroot problem

Hi,

I have a proftp configuration for inetd and two users. One is:

u1:x:1038:103::/home/u1:/bin/false
u1f1:x:1078:103::/home/u1/html:/bin/false

Group 103 is ftponly. /home/u1 is owned by u1 and /home/u1/html is owned by u1f1.

Default root in proftpd.conf is:
DefaultRoot ~ ftponly

u1 can log in, u1f1 can't. Proftpd writes an error message while doing the chroot to ~. It sais no such file or directory. /home/u1/html is definately there.

Any ideas?
