Problems with VPN of Fedora19
Hi forum,
My question is probably simple but not familiar to me. I am trying to connect to a Windows VPN network from my Fedora 19 box. I bring up Network Settings and create a new VPN network, I choose PPTP as it's a Windows domain I want to connect to and the following:
Connection name: Hashbangs VPN
Gateway: 192.168.12.34 - Internal IP address of my XP vm on the network
Username: hashbangbinbash
Password hashbangpasword
NT Domain: vpn.hashbangdomain.com
I keep on failing to connect, not sure where to look, most of the google results I've found seem to veer off into even less known territory. I can connect quite straight-forwardly using these details from Windows machine but would prefer to connect from linux machine. I'm sure I'm doing something obviously wrong but not sure what, I have under Authentication - PAP, CHAP, MSCHAP, MSCHAPv2 and EAP all selected, these work on the Windows to Windows vpn connection so I've kept the same defaults on the Fedora box.
Any advice appreciated.
