Unhappy Problems with port 111 it just won't connect

Hello

My initial setup is this, I have a server which is a NFS server and a NFS Client, long story short, it isn't working, after some time trying to see what is happening I endend up discovering that I can't telnet port 111 to "nfsServer" from "nfsClient" however I can't perfectly telnet to port 111 from my laptop and from anothers servers.

I thought that it could be iptables, but I flushed it and the problem persists, not sure what to do, any assistance will be very helpfull. Thanks.

strace telnet [nfsServer] 111

...
...
...
socket(PF_INET, SOCK_STREAM, IPPROTO_TCP) = 3
setsockopt(3, SOL_IP, IP_TOS, [16], 4) = 0
connect(3, {sa_family=AF_INET, sin_port=htons(111), sin_addr=inet_addr("209.141.47.165")}, 16

strace showmount -e nfsServer

....
....
....
socket(PF_INET, SOCK_STREAM, IPPROTO_TCP) = 3
bind(3, {sa_family=AF_INET, sin_port=htons(0), sin_addr=inet_addr("0.0.0.0")}, 16) = 0
connect(3, {sa_family=AF_INET, sin_port=htons(111), sin_addr=inet_addr("209.141.47.165")}, 16)

strace rpcinfo -p nfsServer

...
...
...
socket(PF_INET, SOCK_STREAM, IPPROTO_TCP) = 3
bind(3, {sa_family=AF_INET, sin_port=htons(929), sin_addr=inet_addr("0.0.0.0")}, 16) = 0
connect(3, {sa_family=AF_INET, sin_port=htons(111), sin_addr=inet_addr("209.141.47.165")}, 16

I've no clue about what to do, hopefully somebody may have an idea of what to do. Thanks in advance.
