problems with 9.1 PPoe
 

I wanted to try linux so I decided to go with mandrake . I downloaded the mandrake 9.1 ISO's burned the cd.s and proceeded to install it. It was easy and everything worked great,but I could not get a internet connection going. I am stationed in Germany I have an adsl account with t-online.de.
Well after spending a day and reading alot I decided to try and go back a version so I downloaded the mandrake 9.0 everything worked great and my PPoe connection went thru without a problem. I used the same parameters in 9.0 as I did in 9.1.So I was having fun surfing the net on my new linux machine but I liked the look if the 9.1 and kde 3.1 better then 9.0 so I decided to try and upgrade .That all went well except I have lost the ability to connect to the internet again.Anyone have any suggestion on how I can get a PPoe connection going with 9.1 or should I just reinstall 9.0 or go with a another distro like Redhat or debian?
