Hi all:
iam trying to use pppoe on my linux box but not working,
i have cenots 5.2 installed ,i tried to install ppp by using "yum install ppp" i found ppp is already installed to etc directory /etc/ppp , i made config to "chap-secrets" and "pap-secrets" ,and here what i've did:

my pppoe (user: mog12, pass: sale)

In chap-secrets

# Secrets for authentication using CHAP
# client server secret IP addresses
mog12 sale

In pap-secrets

# Secrets for authentication using PAP
# client server secret IP addresses
mog12 sale

then i tried this command on root :
#adsl-start
#adsl-status
/sbin/adsl-status: Cannot read configuration file '/etc/ppp/pppoe.conf'

iam getting this error , but i cant find pppoe.conf at /etc/ppp !!!!

any suggestions will be gracefull .

install rp-pppoe

pppoe-setup, start, discovery
