Problems emailing to users on server
 

I rebuilt my server, i can sent emails to anyone in internet land but if i send an email to another user on my server it's just stuck in the mail queue ('mailq')

so if i send an email to user4@myserverhostname.com it won't work.

before i could just use 'mail' or set the pop3 server in Outlook Express to 192.168.0.2 and it would get it.

It's a linux OS (mandrake 10.1) and using postfix.

any ideas??

Anything in the logs? Mine are in /var/log/mail. Also, post the output of the postconf(1)command. Is postfix running?

Try telnet localhost 25 and see if it will let you connect.

i fixed the problem. i installed mailman, and have heard it conflicts with postfix. i uninstall it, then postfix, and reinstalled just postfix and now everything works fine.
