problems configuring Kvpnc using openvpn

Hey,

Since a few days I officially dumped my windows and changed it for Kubuntu 8.04.1. On my windows install i ran the openvpn gui to connect to another distant network which worked perfect. Now i'm trying to connect to that VPN using KVpnc but it just wont work. Each time i get the error saying that:

error: OpenvpnManagementHandler: Got no greeting within 3 seconds from management interface, retrying.

After 60 seconds it says the TLS key negotiation failed to occur within 60 seconds. I tried googling the error message but I can find the problem. I use the kvpnc wizard to import my old ovpn settings file and correct the path to the CA key and my personal key.

Hope you can help me out, hope to hear from you
Thanks in advance,
Niels Lemmens
