Problem with wvdial returning exit code 15

I have been battling with wvdial for a long while now but i have finally got it to connect to the internet. But it doesnt completely work...it seems to connect because i can apt-get update and it doesnt have any errors but soon after that it quits saying that there was a lack of LCP echo responses. It then exits with code 15.

Im guessing this means that for some reason my isp isnt responding properly or something

All help is much appreciated

Thanx
