Recently I was provided with LAN facility.To my dismay I coudn't configure
the LAN.I just don't know how I'll be able to use the LAN facility on linux.
What version of Linux are you using?
Can you describe your network to us?
Are you connected to the Internet. If so how? By dialup, PPOE, DHCP via cable modem?
Are you connected via ethernet to a router?
Are you directly connected to a cable Modem?
Are you using DSL?
Are you using Dialup?
It will help to know these in order to troubleshoot.
