problem with if-up.d/mountnfs

Hi

I have debian (squeeze) on a machine with multiple NICs and I have given them different static address. My /etc/network/interfaces file looks like this:

auto eth2
iface eth2 inet static
address 192.168.33.1
network 192.168.33.0
netmask 255.255.255.0
broadcast 192.168.33.255

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 10.10.33.1
network 10.10.33.0
netmask 255.255.255.0
broadcast 10.10.33.255

auto eth1
iface eth1 inet static
address 192.168.40.1
network 192.168.40.0
netmask 255.255.255.0
broadcast 192.168.40.255

eth2 connects to lan router which works fine

When i try to bring up eth0 by ifup eth0, it gives me warning" waiting for network interface eth1 to mount nfs."

ifconfig shows that etho has got the static ip but after a while it loooses it and gets a self-assigned ip.

samething happens when I try other way round i.e to bring up eth1 1st then warning will change to eth0 waiting for nfs mount. and looses static ip.

Any help please
Thanks

Found answer to my own question.

Since I had Gnome GUI installed, it came with its own network manager which wasnt taking /etc/network/interfaces file into consideration. So i had remove the gnome network manager packages and added route and static address. This seemed to work for me.
