problem with bonding slave interfaces

Hi all,

My router's bonding slave interfaces always failed. Below is from /proc/net/bonding/bond0 :

Code:

Bonding Mode: load balancing (round-robin)

MII Status: up

MII Polling Interval (ms): 100

Up Delay (ms): 0

Down Delay (ms): 0



Slave Interface: eth1

MII Status: up

Link Failure Count: 41



Slave Interface: eth3

MII Status: up

Link Failure Count: 26

If u look at the Link Failure Count, it indicates that the failure was always happened. My questions are how to rectify this problem and what caused it?

I just want to know whether the failures caused by hardware/link/module failure.

Any advice appreciated.
