problem with adsl-start and /etc/ppp/ip-up-script

This damn script doesnīt want to execute.
Itīs just filled with:

updatedd-wrapper -y
I can execute it by calling it directly with /etc/ppp/ip-up but when adsl-start establishes a connection it happens nothing.

Iīm using Slackware 9.1.

Any idea??
