Problem running SWAT


I get this error.

Could not connect to host hostname (port 901)

I've tried it with the firewall disabled which makes no difference.

Do you have any ideas?

Mandrake 9.2 BTW

still doesnt work?

edit /etc/xinetd.d/swat

and change disable =yes to disable = no

then retry.

if you are trying to access SWAT from a different machine than the localhost you will use the IP address of the machine you are trying to configure. e.g. http://192.168.1.104:901

oops also restart your xinetd services. by reboot. or other.
