Problem receiving files with Licq

Im running Licq 1.2.7 on Mandrake 9.2 and everything
works fine its a really nice app, except for that I
cant receive any files. (Sending files work !)

Ive tried all combinations of the firewall and proxy settings
in the program but none of them can make me connect to the sender.
When accepting an incoming file this is what the licq log says:

00:47:41: [SRV] File transfer request through server from p (UIN).
00:47:47: [TCP] Local TCP server started on port 33874.
00:47:47: [SRV] Accepting file transfer from p (#-1020).

No error msg, but it doesnt work. Im new at linux so I dont
know how to proceed, do I need to configure port 33874 for incoming traffic ?

Im not using a personal firewall but Im connecting to internet via cable to my ISP, which supplies my external IP.

Any ideas ?!

It may be a problem with program, have you checked their website to see if this is a known problem? With gaim i know you have to be lucky to get it to send or recieve files
