Problem:Connect to internet with winXP through a computer running suse10.2

I have a pc as server in a lan with suse 10.2 OS that connect directly to internet (via pppoe).
My server has to network card, one for lan and another for pppoe.
I have another computer with winXP and want to have access to internet through my server.
When I ping, both computer know the ip of each other but I cant connect to internet in pc with winXP

You'll need to enable NAT, and do some ip masquerading etc. There's loads of howtos on the internet. Here's and example

Hi,
Did you set up routing on the linux box? (ip forwarding, firewall rules and so on....)
In suse you can use yast if you are not familiar with command line editing.
So be sure to configure the network enabling ip forwarding, nat if necessary, set up the firewall to use the internal network as trust zone, and then you can use your linux box as the dafault gateway for the winxp machine.
