here is the way
1) find out what is your LAN ip from range e.g. 192.168.0.x
2) find out ur gateway ip eg 192.168.0.1
then go to fedora konsole ( or run konsole )
type setup
[rou@nc ~]$ setup
You are attempting to run "setup" which requires administrative
privileges, but more information is needed in order to do so.
Password for root:
after enter root password then u can see box with the word "Network configuration then enter the info u get
save and quit configuration then restart network
/etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart
let us know if there still problem

problem accessing the internet
i have a problem accessing the inter net using fedora core 4......can anybody teach me how to obtain an ip address when i cant obtain it automatically.....plss do lend me a hand with this mess....
