Question Pro FTP HELP

I'm having a problem trying to figure out how to stop users from changing the directory from their home directory to the root directory or viewing other directories. I'm using Proftp, and running RedHat 7.2

Thanks

I added the following line to /etc/proftd.conf

DefaultRoot ~ !specialusername

This makes the default root directory the users home directory. They can't get any lower then that. The last bit makes it possible for this rule not to apply to any name you specify there.
The proftpd website has very detailed documentation of all the rules you can specify in the configuration file.
