Prints 2 extra pages, every time

Hi!

I am using an SMC 7004abr router as a print server and switch on my network (not using router function). I have connected to it and am able to print. Trouble is no matter what I print there is always two extra pages that come out blank afterwards.

I am using CUPS to connect to the LPD://ipaddress_of_router/device_name.

If I print from a Windows Machine it works perfectly(sigh...) but linux likes to print 2 extra pages.

If I print a CUPS test page, one test page and 2 blank pages come out. If I print a 15 page website 15 pages of website come out and 2 blank pages.

Any thoughts on this?

David

(Printer is Brother HL-1200 connected to SMC 7004abr Part#5432 which is cross overed to the switch where my linux(suse 9.3) and windows machines are.)

I had the same problem before (HP Laserjet 4M), solved by instaling a different driver.
