Printing with print server and mandriva 2005

Hi,
I've downloaded and installed Mandriva 2005, and was very impressed with the built in wireless tools.

I use a wireless card to connect to a router, and also on the network is a linksys wireless print server. This is not a wireless issue, as I have the wireless network working, and also the print server works fine in windows. However, I can not find out how to connect and print to it in linux. (There's a brother laser printer connected to it with USB)

In windows, you can go into network places and find the print server at \\BIGBROTHER and the printer at P2 under that.

Any ideas how I can get it to work under linux would be most appreciated. I have tried quite a few times with the wizard but it's mainly taking stabs in the dark to be honest.

TIA
Will.

You'll need to make sure cups daemon is running:
# /etc/rc.d/init.d/cupsd start

The below is based on using a D-Link DI-704P wired router/print server. Your print server may require different settings.

From the Mandrake control panel you should be able to add a new printer. Select cups as the print server, the address is probably 192.168.0.1 and the port is 515 and the queue is lp.

<edit> Here's a good link for you.
