Hi all,
I am trying to get my linux machine to use the printer hooked up to my
dads machine which is running Windows XP. I have managed to connect to the
printer using smbclient and print a text file.
[root@localhost samba]# smbclient -L bob
added interface ip=192.168.0.229 bcast=192.168.0.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Password:
Domain=[WORKGROUP] OS=[Windows 5.1] Server=[Windows 2000 LAN Manager]

then when i try this command to set up the printer using this command it
gives me this message
[root@localhost samba]# lpadmin -h bob -p BobPrinter -v
smb://Jason:mypass@bob/EpsonSty -P
/root/Epson-Stylus_Color_740-gimp-print.ppd
lpadmin: Unable to connect to server: Connection refused
