printing to windows 2000 printer

I have redhat 9.0 networked to win 2k with a samba share for filesharing, this works ok. Now I want to use the win 2k printer from redhat so added:

[printer]
comment= Win2kprinter
path= ?
public=yes
writable =no
printable = yes
guest=ok

I'm not sure what to put for the path, have tried numerous things...

/var/spool/samba also the win2k ipaddress and machine name without luck

each time used redhat-printer-config and choose Networked Windows (smb)but printer doesnt show up under win2k machine so go to specify and put in windows workgroup(HOME), machine(HYDE), share(EPSON)which is printer sharename, username(GUEST) no password as guest is user.
however no matter what I do the authentication window keeps reappearing.

Only way I found to work from linux to Windows printer was to have a valid username and password on the Windows box and whatever the method of printing from linux the smb bit had to be in the format smb://userassword@server/printer_share_name. I use the CUPS web manager (localhost:631) to do this.
