Printing to Samsung ML-1430 on XP Box
I'm trying to get my Samsung Ml-1430 Laser printer to work via Smbprint to the XP system it's attached to but I'm having minimal luck. I'm running Redhat 8.0 and I've got the printer to accept data across the network but when I go to print I get the following out of my printer:
PCL6 ERROR - FALSE
POSITION : *mem address*
SYSTEM: WSIM/gdi
LINE: 321
VERSION: QDPL 1.13 04-01-2002
I assume this is a driver issue on the linux side, but I'm not sure how to fix it since Samsung uses CUPS for printing not lpd. I'm a bit new to the whole spooling processes for printing so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
James
