I've done a quick search and found a couple of threads with similar problems, but none exactly matching (and furthermore they didn't have any solutions posted).

I've printed successfully on the a RH9 box to a W2K workstation, but I've tried with no success to try and print to a Windows XP SP1 and SP2 workstation with different shared printers on them.

One is on a local area network, another is on a different subnet over a VPN.

The SP2 machine has file & print sharing enabled, and both Win XP machines accept print jobs from other Windows machines.

The Windows machines are on a Windows 2000 DOMAIN, and in the console when I go into "printconf" I put in the domain under the workgroup, and the username and password for the Administrator login on the domain.

This configuration has worked successfully on the W2K workstation.

Are you guys familiar with this problem? I have Samba 2.2 and I've tried with my RH9 box authenticated and not authenticated on the server - it can print successfully to the W2K workstation regardless, but it fails no matter what on the Win XP machines.

Am I overlooking something obviously here?
