Printer Banner Pages with SMC Barricade 7004ABR Router / Print Server.

After updating the firmware in my SMC7004ABR router to latest v1.42.003 which fixes the problem of extra job trailer pages bein printed, the router hangs after a few minutes use. I reloaded my old v1.40.018, but would like to try an intermediate version which, AFAIK, is not available from the SMC website.

I know this may be the wrong forum for this, but does anyone have or know a source for V1.40.025, 026, 027, v1.41.01, v1.42.000 or v1.42.001 for Part Number 750-5702 of the 7004ABR which I could try???

I'm still going back and forth with SMC tech support. After going through all the usual checks to make sure I'm not doing something obviously wrong, we're now trying intermediate versions of code. I'm running v1.40.024D now, which doesn't fix the banner printing, but doesn't hang either. There doesn't appear to be a source for old versions of the firmware, so I just have to wait for SMC tech support to mail out versions as they see fit. A bit frustrating. Luckily this isn't a very serious problem, although I hate wasting paper.
