print TO windows 2000 FROM Fedora - fails
I am trying to access a printer (HP 1210) located on my Windows 2000 computer from my Fedora Core 3 via Samba. I have gone through the set up utilites and everything seems fine. But when I try to print this is what happens:
1) the job shows up in the appropriate the Windows 2000 print queue
2) I hear the printer whurr and click as though it were about to print
3) the Red Hat cups manager shows the job as "completed"
4) nothing ever comes out of the printer - the print queue on 2K continues to show it as 'Printing'
To make matters worse, I cannot delete or cancel the the job - I have to reboot 2K to get the job out of the queue.
Any thoughts?
