Hi ,

I have a two linux mail servers with static ip's situated at two differant ( far away ) locations.

one of this is a primary mail server and other is configured to be secondary mail handler in case the primary fails ( we made the neccessary changes in the DNS )

Now incase the primary server is down , all the mails will be received by the secondary server.

After we have repaired the primary server we want all the mails accumulated at the secondary server to be sent to the primary server ( Please dont ask why we need the mails at primary as well!)

How can i offload this mails as soon as my primary comes up .

Please restart secondary mail server service and mail will be offloaded to the primary server(if your configuration is correct)
