PPTP on Ubuntu Server - Client WinXP
 

Hello friends!!

I have a strage problem...

I need to create a PPTP connection from my home server (with Ubuntu 5.10) and one PC with WinXP.

I have done this step:

- Installed PPTP Server (PoPToP Server called pptpd server)
- I have create new account
- I have opened my port 1723 and protocol GRE on my router...

So, I have tried to connect my XP PC, with dialup connection to my DSL address using the XP connection wizard..

Icredible!! My connection was successfully!!

So, I tried to open some shared folder on my server (Server with samba) but... I couldn't watch nothing!!

And now... WHY THIS??

The only things that I have changed on my PPTPD server is this:

localip 192.168.0.2 (192.168.0.2 is the router)
remoteip 192.168.0.200-254

Where is the problem??
