Question PPPoE

Greetings

I would like to use pppoe on a memory-constrained device running Linux. The processor is a StrongArm and since I am rather new to Linux I would really appreciate some help on how to compile the source for StrongArm.

However, if you would like to help me out, there are some things worth knowing:
1)I can’t compile on the device itself instead I need to cross-compile it on my Laptop for the StrongArm and then install the program on the Linux device.

2)I have kernel support for pppoe

3)I have all tools and compilers necessary and it is up and running, meaning I can compile programs on my Laptop and install them on the StrongArm device

I need some help on how to tell the Makefile to use the StrongArm compiler instead of the compiler for my Laptop processor I am trying to use rp-pppoe and run the Makefile, but i do not quite get how to change the compiler path???

I greatly appreciate any help

Cheers

/Ztopher
