PPPD: Problems with setting up "Dial on demand"

Hi @All,

SuSE Linux 9.0 Pro

eth0 - Usual Network Device - LAN
dsl0 (ppp0) - FritzCard DSL (AVM) - Internet (DoD)

I have problems setting up the files: /etc/ppp/options and /etc/ppp/peers/[isp-script]. I've allready had a correct setup, but in case of a harddisk crash, I've lost my config. Does anybody have a setup like this and can help?

It is also possible that this problem depends on settings in routing (/etc/sysconfig/network/routes).

Some suggestions about checking or setup would be great!

dial on demand

I've tried wvdial - but it only works with modems over the COM - I have an internal PCI-Card (FritzCard DSL).

I would think that "diald" is the best choice for me to get a dod-connection over ppp (pppd) - does anybody have a working setup for this with an equal configuration?
