PPP Walkthrough

Is there a site that will tell me exactly how to set up my internal modem (Conexant D480 MDC V.9x Modem) to work with fedora core 2 because I can't get it to even try to connect, it will give me some bogus error (I am writing this from windows as I cannot access the internet through linux). The ethernet works fine, but I have no ethernet here, only internet.

Never done it myself, but you should read this guys links (actually for all sorts of things)

and see if you can get it going with the section that reads
