ppp problem and hotplug


I've strange problem, for some time I'm trying to find a solution for my problem and seems I've figured it out but can't solve in the way I wish, maybe someone would help me out?
So here is my problem, I'm still on 33600 modem and use it for my internet connection. All is working well with original kernel(which come with my Debian SID), and from beginning it work pretty well with my new custom kernel, but after some tweaking it stops working, I've play with different options with networking until figured out that it wasn't caused by them but by checking hot-pluggable support in general category of kernel... so once it's enabled I got not working ppp and once it's disabled everything start to work...
I should say that once I've start a ping or traceroute or try to use browser it look endlessly for URL but nothing happens...
anyonce could provide me with ideas what it could be?

PS I have an Bluetooth and Realcom network card and SkyStar2 DVB card which I didn't make to work now as my priority is PPP, so I can be able to look for answers on the Internet... I'm not sure but my intuition tells me that it could be because of one of this devices which isn't properly identfied when hot-plug is disabled, e.g. network card tells eth0: device doesn't exist(or something like this), so maybe it's some problem with IPs?

I would appreciate if someone could assist me in resolving this problem. Thanks!

PSPS almost forgot that I'm using 2.6.6 right now, of course if it make any difference.

so am I the only one who have experienced such problem? or noone using Hotplug support in the kernel, if so what's the reason and what is the other way to detect devices like a digital cameras which are work like a mass storage devices on a fly?

need routing help

I've figured out what was the problem although now I need some routing help, the problem is that once my machine is started and I've connected to my ISP(through dialup) I'm getting this:

seems that I don't have right gateway am I right?

so I'm doing next thing:
route add default gateway 192.168.7.35
which add next line to my route:

default 192.168.7.36 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 ppp0
after this all start to work well, but only till my next reconnection to the ISP, since each session my ppp0 get new IP could anyone please suggest solution to this problem so I could automatically configure my ISP connection?
