Postfix troubleshooting

I've installed Postfix on my workstation, with the view to forwarding all locally created mail to a company (Domino) mail server. I've edited the mail.cf file in /etc/postfix by adding:

relayhost=192.168.1.40

to forward mail to the Domino server.

1. Surprise, surprise it's not working. There's nothing on the Domino logs to suggest my workstation has tried forwarding mail to the Domino server, so where should I start looking for troubleshooting hints?

2. There doesn't seem to be the same wealth of tutorial/primer files on Postfix as on other Linux topics... Can anyone suggest something online?

Dave
