Angry Postfix strange behavior

I have a strange problem with postfix.
Postfix does not start new sessions after a short while after restart. The tcp session gets initiated, but postfix does not answer. Invoking "/etc/init.d/postfix restart" solves the problem for about 5 seconds... It DID work a couple of days ago, but not now...
Anyone got an idea?

Oh, I've checked that DNS is working normal!

Check your log files in /var/log (impossible to tell which log, because different distros put the Postfix logs in different places). There should be some clues about what's going on.
