Postfix problem

How can I configure Postfix to allow sending mail as an SMTP server for everybody on my LAN without having to have a Linux account on my machine and without authenticating?

Thank you.

Hi there;

The answer is 'virtual domains'...
Have a look at the directory where postfix installs the collection of README and html files; Postfix is very well-documented in that respect ( and many others for that matter

Cheers

You don't need virtual domains to do this.

Simply install postfix and execute the following commands:
Code:
postconf -e "mynetworks_style = subnet"
Then to make sure the new setting takes effect:
Code:
postfix start
or
Code:
postfix reload
if postfix is already running.

Cheers,
