Postfix on 25 and 30025

All,

My ISP blocks port 25. I have a server at home that needs to send emails (don't worry it's not spam). I have a server with postfix which handles all the mail for my domain. So I figure, for my home machine I create the transports file with the single line:

* smtppen.mydomain.net:30025

That will mean that any mail on my local network will be sent to open.mydomain.net which I will setup to trust my IP address.

How can I get the machine at open.mydomain.net to listen on BOTH 25 and 30025 without the use of iptables.

Thanks,

David

Alright, looks like the change needed to be made in master.cf

What I had tried was:

smtp inet n - - - - 30025

what I should have added was:

30025 inet n - - - - smtpd

Hope this helps someone out there.

How do I setup the public server to relay mails from the server mentioned in the above post. I tried using access and it didn't like it...

I set it as a my networks theIp/32. But I would like to use the hostname instead...

What exactly is your problem? If your ISP blocks port 25 then you obviously cannot receive mail at home. This does not affect sending though. If there is a trusting server you should be able to relay thru it.
Is your ISP somehow restricting outbound traffic to port 25 too or what? You should be able to route your outgoing mail thru your ISP's mail server then.

My ISP blocks all incoming and all outgoing traffic on port 25 except to their one specific server. I do not want to use their server as I have SPF records setup for my domain and I won't add an ISP's relay to my spf record.
