POST and GET dont work on home server
 

i have apache 2 and the PHP module installed on a home computer for some web development. They serve up pages just fine; but, my pages dont seem to be passing variables from forms using GET or POST. i have a test page that worked before I upgraded to Mandrake 9.1 so I know it is not just the code. is there another module I need to install? a setting I have to make?

you probably need to check the register globals option in your php.ini file

i searched for that php.ini file on my system with mandrake 9.1 and didn't find such a thing. the lead is good, though, let me see what i can find. thanks so much for your attention.
