Port Redirection

Ok here is the situation. I am at college for the most part and our college here has a firewall preventing the playing of FFXI for PC. I know I could probably try to break into the firewall and do alot of naughty things, but to legalize this a bit how would I go about using a small linux firewall to redirect the port usage.

I just need to know if I can using exsisting FFXI software do it or if I need to create a small box for port redirection with a linux firewall. Anyway let me know what I can do to get this problem done and I will be your best friend
