Port not being forwarded to linux server specifically

Hello, i posted before about problems with my home server, which were solved:
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...at-4175618703/

Now my problem is actually getting my Linux (Kali, Debian) machine to listen on this port outside LAN. The router was set up properly, which was guaranteed by testing the same setup with my phone, forwarded to the same port, and a simple "nc -lp 1337" was accessible from outside.
On my box, though, port check tools can't see the service running. What could i be missing here?

Other info:

- Iptables is accepting all traffic
- Receiving connections inside LAN is not an issue
- I could only test it in one router

Is your router port forwarding configured with the correct IP address for your linux machine? Are you using a static IP address or address reservation in the router?

When testing are you using the correct public IP address of the router?

Without knowing the exact steps / port check tools you are using it is difficult to know what you could be missing.

Yes, sure, all of the above.
I was able to test it in another router, and it worked, seems like it's a problem with my router, actually
