Question port forwarding to win 2k machine.

I fear that this has cropped up here more than once, if so, could anyone reply with the url to the thread which may answer this.
I have slackware 8.0 distro, kernel 2.4.13-ac5 and iptables 1.2.2. I have tried the iptables command of

'iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i eth0 -p TCP --dport 27016 -j DNAT --to-destination 192.168.0.5:27016'

The rule is added ok, and the small web service placed on the port 27016 on the internal machine (the Win 2k) works via the internal ip, but not via the external. I know the traffic from the external is reaching the internal machine, so is there something that needs to be done to forward packets out again? or something i have missed?

Thankyou very much to nayone who can help!
