port 113

I used to have a free port 113, but when I chose aMSN to use port 113, then it closed the port. When I changed it back it stood closed. I'd like to know what should I do or how can I see what program is still using the port.

I have Red Hat 9.0

[root@linux root]# cat /etc/services |grep 113
auth 113/tcp authentication tap ident
auth 113/udp authentication tap ident

port 113 is used by auth.
so i think
#netstat -a |grep auth
command will show u what s listening to port 113
