Not exactly,
When I tested this at the customer site, my Windows client station had a specific IP attributed by their DHCP server. This is the address I put in /etc/pptpd.conf file. It worked fine in their environment.
But when I get home, when I connect to my DHCP router, it assigns me a different IP. Furthermore, my firewall does NATting so when I try to connect to my customer Poptop server, it doesnt recognize my Windows client station, although it does authenticate my username
assword.
My knowledge of Poptop is fairly new. Is this the right tool for me tu use, considering what I want to do?
Thanks!
