On my RH 7.1 machine, I have 2 users apart from root:

user1
user2

On GNOMe, using the BALSA program i can send mail locally to each user from root, and vice versa.

The question is: in the linuxconf, the pop3 account tab does not list any user. So I assume the above email accounts are not pop3.

And when I attempt to add an account in pop3 with the username as user1, RH prompts me, "User1 already exists"

What I dont understand is why the user1 account is clashing with pop3 accounts. And if I pretended that the email account I have is pop3, then why isn't it listed in the pop3 tab ??
