Unhappy Pls. help! Before my boss fires me!

I install my squid proxy 2.5 STABLE on my RH9. But the following error appeared

WARNING: Cannot run '/usr/lib/squid/ncsa_auth' process
cannot stat /etc/squid/passwd

I have squid running, only with some problems. I already read and visit many mailing list but, in vain I can't seem to find the solution to my problem.

Pls. help me.

Thank you.

Make sure the ncsa_auth is loaded, either in the kernel or as a module (insmod?). Also, do the two files exist and are their permissions appropriate? Unfortunately I'm not familiar with squid...
